ONLINE TAX RECORDS

Tax records are online beginning with the 1999 tax year (taxes payable for 2000). Follow this link to access online tax records.

If you have issues accessing the tax records website please consider taking the following troubleshooting steps.

1. Delete any shortcuts or book marks to the taxrecords site and recreate them using the link above.

2. Delete your web browser's cache.

   • For Internet Explorer 9 and 10 please use this resource. kb.wisc.edu/page.php? id=15141

   • For Internet Explorer 8 please use this resource kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=12314

   • For Internet Explorer versions less than 8 please upgrade your browser.

   • If you are using an alternative browser please perform a search to determine the appropriate steps to clear the cache. 

Search Strategy:

• Use a parcel number if known

• If no parcel is available:

  • Search by site addresses first and use minimal information
     (enter the house number and part of the street name)

  • Search by owner name
    (Start by specifying only the last name.  Don't enter address or other information)

Tax records prior to the 1999 tax year are stored in book format. Contact the Treasurer’s office to request specific records.

Delinquent lands and town lots sold in December 1823 for 1882 taxes

Mortgage loans prior to 1897
