Video Visiting Hours

On-Site Visits: Friends and family can schedule video visits for no-charge with inmates using the public visitation room in the Jail Visitation lobby off Vermont Street. Visits can be scheduled daily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (visits will be blocked from 11am-12pm and 4pm-5pm during mealtime). Visits need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance by either:

• Using a video terminal in the public visitation area; or
• Using the website at www.inmatesales.com or call 1-877-998-5678

Remote Visits: The video visitation system will allow friends and family to conduct a “remote” or “at-home” visit from home for a minimal fee using a computer or mobile device. Remote visits are available between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (visits will be blocked from 11am-12pm and 4pm-5pm during mealtime). Visits need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance using the website at www.inmatesales.com or call 1-877-998-5678.

Basic Rules for Inmate Phones, Video Visits and Texting

1. There will be NO age restriction for visitation. However, ALL visitors 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
2. Photo ID will be required for ALL adult visitors. Acceptable forms of ID will be, but not limited to, Driver's License, State ID cards, School ID, and Military ID.
3. Children may not be left unattended at any time.
4. Proper attire is required at all times. If proper attire is not worn your visitation privileges will be suspended.  Visitors and detainees must remain fully clothed for the entire duration of the visit. If any visitor or detainee fails to remain fully clothed then their visitation privileges will be suspended.
5. If you are on probation or have a pending felony or misdemeanor case, you will not be allowed to visit. Also if you are a victim of the inmate's current pending case or have a current order of protection against the inmate, you are not allowed to visit.
6. Please arrive at the Jail Visitation lobby 10 minutes early for an onsite visit to check-in and take your seat at your assigned terminal to be ready for your visit.
7. Inmates cannot receive telephone calls and jail staff will not relay messages.
8. Telephone calls, video visits and text messages are recorded unless you are an inmate’s attorney or clergy and have been cleared by the facility and you have contacted www.inmatesales.com. ALL texting communications are recorded.
9. Video visits need to be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
10. Family and friends can video visit on-site in the public lobby for no-charge or they can visit remotely via computer or mobile device for a minimal fee.
11. There is a kiosk in the jail lobby where friends and family can deposit money onto an inmate's phone account. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.
12. If you receive a call from an inmate, you will be given the option to accept the call or reject the call block all future calls from the Adams County Jail. Simply follow the phone prompts during the call.
